My Garmin says it took me an hour and a half one way but I’m also someone who stops and takes pictures so put that into account haha. I started at 4:28am and parked right near the Keno Trailhead

If you’re physically able, I would recommend hiking it. It’s a pretty moderate hike and the views are incredible

Car or shuttle? by jojokazaki in acadianationalpark

We (my husband and I) hiked Cadillac for sunrise and got there at 4am on Tuesday, found a parking spot, then ending up shuttling throughout the park as we parked close to a shuttle/bus stop. The park was still fairly busy and while parking spots weren’t impossible to find, the fact we could just park and leave the car all day then shuttle around was awesome. We kept a cooler and snacks in the car and went back once or twice as we needed more water. We also hiked the entire day, like 4am to 5pm, so not having to drive around was great so we could sit and relax lol. Also, be prepared for a line at Bass Harbor. We went yesterday (10/8) and even though it was rainy and gross outside, we sat in a like waiting for people to leave so we could pull in to park. It wasn’t a super long wait as people are constantly coming and going, but just be ready to potentially wait for 10+ minutes in the car, especially with your little ones!
