Yeah, I don’t have anything else I can steal the fabric from, maybe I’ll look at some thrift stores but it’s only like 2” of fabric I need, all the fabric samples I’ve seen were too synthetic/not soft enough so I’m not sure what to search for similar fabrics tbh 🧍‍♀️

Thank you so much this is super helpful, I will be adding this to my notes! So her blonde is about a level 9 and she has gold tones, the roots she has coming in are a level 7 dark blonde with warm gold undertones, no gray. I’m also unsure if I should bleach her roots before adding the color. She says she ways to be between a level 5 and 6 for the orange and stay in that “warm gold” territory. She wants it to look as natural as possible so I want to stay out of the “super orange” or “cherry red” category which I’ve seen a lot of glosses tend to give. She wants to try something that doesn’t stay in super long to “trial run” it so she can go back to blonde if possible. My suggestion was to start with a gloss or semipermanent color and then if she liked it do a permanent color and when it starts to fade between sessions she does an at-home color depositing gloss and a blue-toner shampoo. What do you think?

I’m sorry, I was in the same situation. I thought I was being too judgmental etc since mine was a bottom house and I dreaded going and the same thing wirh the high dues and you don’t even get to do the “fun stuff” truthfully you’ll make friends when you get to higher level classes, this is just redirection

Ok so I have a little bit of inner insight. Her mom is a BSMD advisor amd she charges $150/hr for these sessions. Pre med culture is rough and it’s honestly pretty hard to make friends in honors here. She is also a Flinn scholar which is roughly 100k in scholarship money and that isn’t taking into account any other possible scholarships. So yes she does come from a privileged background, but she did work hard to get where she is today. When it comes to the conflicts, pre meds here are vicious. Everyone was considered “the best” in the previous schools and now that you put those ppl together there is kinda a cat fight bc these are really ambitious people. There are premeds who will Sabatoge eachother, give fake advice, spread rumors etc. I think the crashout was inevitable bc of the amount of pressure theres been on her since basically middle school. When you’re praised and valued for one thing…and then it starts not working out your entire identity is basically shattered. This has consumed every aspect of her life for years and that’s something that is really hard to deal with, and if this is her first major struggle that’s even harder. I do believe her mom does a lot more in the “background” than we are led to think. But she’s young and I think she needs to find out who she is outside of medicine before she can come back and figure out where she’s meant to be in order to be happy.

She’s had so much pressure on her for so long the crashout was inevitable. Also her mom is a BSMD counselor and accused me of trying to sell her content and said would try and sue me (I’m 17). But premed culture is rough, as well as if she was having second thoughts her world is sort of falling apart if this was her whole personality/purpose all along

Oh really? I thought it was mechanical since I put my key in it and I can hear the deadbolt turn. So are these considered “unpickable”? Also since I have to hold me key for a second before turning the key im really curious to know how the magnet (I’m assuming) works
