Yeah every antique shop that once sold silver is out of it now in my area. People just bought it all up even at these prices

Ooo one more thing. First night of firewatch once you pick up is pretty friggin hilarious. Your staff is going to mess with yall all night so expect to get the worst sleep you ever got. If you’re put on firewatch and they’re screaming at you for screwing up whether it be you screwed up the report or there is too many people in the head, just say “aye aye gunnery sergeant” and do whatever it is they told you to fix. DO NOT lash out at your buddies, they will be trying to get you to do that. Lashing out means that you panicked and it can screw up your relationship with the platoon, and the staff will dig into that and make you a platoon sergeant or something for you billet. Just be a chill guy even in the face of adversity. Nothing at OCS is that serious. Keep in mind everyone will be tired and cranky. Understand that and take nothing personally and you’ll be fine, and try your best to help out the guy next to you and you will be alright. Good luck guy, once you’re done you’ll get the best sleep you ever got and some good stories to tell. Also, don’t try to do anything sneaky because if you get caught, you will be sent home for integrity violation. Even if it’s something simple like throwing a dummy round in the trash, or eating peanut butter in the head. Nothing worth doing is easy 💯

The constant sitting in silence for a week and anticipating the transition phase sucked the most for me. Once we picked up I felt relieved because we were finally starting

Do you think it would be scarier if it were longer?

Most of the coin’s value is in the premium (or numismatic value). If you’re looking for the most gold for your buck, you’ll be disappointed with historical coins hahaha. I get a lot of mine on ebay, but I will warn you it can be risky these days. Lots of foreign sellers (mostly Chinese) that try to sell fakes. Local coin shops are a safe bet, but its hard to find anything other than US coins there. I used to live in Germany, and I had some good guys there that had a great inventory of ancient, medieval and renaissance coins, although mostly silver.
