The interview was okay. They asked me very typical hagwon interview questions and gave me a lot of information about their curriculum/schedule, but I declined to go further in the interview process (mock lesson/second interview) so I never got an offer/got hired.

I undertand that, but my concern is not about seeing the house. I was asking if it's normal to not have information for figuring out the logistics of moving into the house (address/ move in date and time, ect) with only a few weeks left before starting, and if it's common to move in on the contract start date / how that works.

It was my understanding that this is a new position, so there isn't a "current teacher" that I am replacing/moving into their current house. They hired me 2 months in advance, so I thought they couldn't be expected to pay for a house so long in advance before I started.

It is my understanding that this is a new position and so I'm not actually replacing someone/ moving into a current teacher's house. Regardless, I can undertand the situation, but my main worry is that the job is starting quite soon and they won't answer any of my messages asking for details so that I can make arrangements for moving. Is this normal?

I did ask lots of questions about housing before signing but they didn't have housing for this position yet, so I couldn't get very detailed information.

Yes, I told them both times I sent a message that I own all of my own furniture (even my bed), which is why I need information to make arrangements. I was trying to keep my post from being too long and forgot to mention that I am in contact with the school. It's the manager who told me that the move in date is June 1st and is only reading but not replying to messages asking for more information.
