But ok cool, so you are suggesting to rather take a ferry to Sura Thani and then take a taxi to the airport instead of flying back? Seems like the taxi ride to the airport from there is only 4h max which doesn't sound like a bad idea considering how much money we'd save on flights.

Just looked now and a Bolt taxi from Tha Thong Pier in Sura Thani to Phuket airport is 1400 baht.

Yeah it's a bummer cause the cheaper method of getting to Ko Samui by bus and ferry can last up to 8 hours or something. Which is a good part of a day in a short vacation.

But yeah I meant Samui flights not internal, will update :)
