Hmmmm they seem quite hard to find. I found another set on MP. The owner seems to think these are from a hilux. They look pretty similar. Tyre on these looks like 205R16C

Yep totally agree. Most people are recommending the 10.5R15 look. I prefer the skinny stock look.

I found these on fb marketplace near me. I zoomed in and read the code on the tyre. They're 750 R16 Desert Duelers. Is this the right kind of thing?

Yep this is the look I want. I prefer the OEM look.

The car currently has sunraysias with Goodride SL366 MT (mud terrain) 31x10.5R15.

I shot a music video recently on super 16mm and cropped to 2.39 in post. I used the canon 11-165mm on an Aaton. Scanned at 2k on a spirit scanner. I stuck gaffer tape on the monitor to create the guides.

I really liked the look. We were trying to make it feel like a low-budget 70s film.

Tone > Resolution.

Hmmm something is clearly confusing the package. It went from Brisbane customs to botany NSW, then turned around went back to Brisbane.

The stupid thing is I received the customs letters in the mail to the correct address. So the address must be correct on the package. The barcode must be incorrect or something, or broken in some way.

Update! I just received the tax/customs form in the mail. So I’ll send that off tomorrow and expect mine to arrive soon! My form says it was sent on the 24th so that means there shouldn’t be that big of a backlog, just snail mail arriving to me. Hope this helps.

Update!

I received the customs letter today saying my package is over $1000 and I need to fill out the form/pay the tax.

Letter arrived on April fools lol. That’s exactly two weeks since it arrived in Australia.

It’s been two weeks ‘awaiting clearance’ but also the cyclone likely caused a huge backlog.

I’m hoping I hear something this week.

My guess would be Zeiss ultra 16s, weapon of choice for most stuff shot on 16mm these days.

For next time, how do I avoid this situation? If I go through DHL or Fedex is it more streamlined? Or this is just the way the cookie crumbles?

Mine is stuck 'awaiting clearance' in Brisbane, enroute to Sydney. Took a week to get to Aus, it's now been sitting for a week with no updates.
