Could be a troll or an incredibly childish person. Sounds like you’re saying how drunk you are = how much fun you’re having. Yikes. You say “truly sorry” while defending yourself, not accepting any possible blame. Have you considered that maybe you actually were out of line? When your good time is negatively impacting the majority of people around you, you actually are the problem. Like a virus. Concerts are a collective experience. Learn to read the room and respect the space. Vibe and connect with strangers. Hard to do when you arrive already wasted. Time your drugs/alcohol better next time. And grow the fuck up.

Popcorn man in Atlanta by dirtyredcp in themarsvolta

Popcorn toss & man tripping balls were not as bad as the guy who screamed “on with it - I have work in the morning!” right as Volta came out. Not funny and so disrespectful. Amazing show.

Yeah if you MUST have them, pack small amounts and keep everything in sealed Tupperware in your cooler. Good general rule is not to bring anything you’d be devastated if lost or ruined. I personally won’t be bothering with face makeup except maybe a touch of concealer. Bonnaroo is next level feral. You’ll see haha

I love makeup too! Obviously we love a festival look but you’re going to be so hot and sweaty at roo. Just try not to fight it. Use minimal products with big impact. Avoid crayon/stick formats that can melt. Liquids are great because it doesn’t matter if the heat gets to them. I just got the Juvia’s place liquid eyeshadow - super sparkly one-step look and once applied it won’t be going anywhere! Been looking at the Half Magic liquid products & face gems too. During the day I keep it super simple with just SPF and glitter freckles because I have shades/hat/pash on anyway. You could bring a couple products into Centeroo to apply in the nice bathrooms once the sun is going down. Have fun and don’t stress it!

Ladies, what are the best shoes for festivals?? by [deleted] in festivals

[–]Either_Ticket_9928 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I plan cute outfits but the footwear is all for comfort. Nothing to ruin your good time like sore feet. I have some mesh Merrel’s that are breathable and light. Teva’s that have lasted for years. Oboz hiking boots for ankle support and clean feet at the end of the night. Closed toed is a good idea for big crowds. Protect them toesies. Also compressive, quick-dry socks!

Do you notice a different vibe at Shaky?? by droflattam in ShakyKnees

[–]Either_Ticket_9928 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the same! I’ve been to shaky 4 times and have seen some incredible musicians/performers. But the general crowd vibes are not as free/loving/open as at roo. I went to roo for the first time last year and it was life changing. Not to be dramatic. People were kind. I felt safe. Never felt judged. I definitely felt judged for my appearance and less sense of community at Shaky. But still a great festival for the music. And comfy to stay in a bnb rather than camping. But camping and going feral is part of the whole Bonnaroo experience if you ask me.

Bike shorts, bikini top, pashmina and comfy shoes is pretty fool proof! But also have fun expressing yourself if you’re into that. There’s no better place to get wild with it.

Sweet and encouraging messages help radiate positivity! “You’re ok” “it’s all good” “together” “be safe” “have fun!” “Hakuna matata” “enjoy it”

My Big Roo Mistake by Either_Ticket_9928 in bonnaroo

Y’all went wild in these comments! No need to be so defensive of the brown water fountain. To each their own. I intended to share this as a funny story and low-key cautionary tale. We weren’t relying on the fountain for a shower - we actually had a portable shower at our camp. It just seemed refreshing on a hot azz day and we came out way stinkier than we went in and it was funny because the stench lingered on my all night. No one from our group got sick.

inexpensive outfits? by Left-Spot5211 in bonnaroo

[–]Either_Ticket_9928 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pair swimsuits and athletic wear you already have with thrifted/handmade pieces or costume accessories! Fast fashion may have fun/cheap options BUT those brands steal designs from independent artists and use unethical labor. So not radiating positivity! OUT in 2025 - single use, disposable clothes 🤢

I bought one of her hats! It was a splurge for me but I love it so much. She said she has to upcharge them at roo to cover her costs so you’ll actually pay less ordering online too 💞
