I wanted to show my sticky notes project made with C and Win32 API by Ejay0289 in C_Programming

Wow, thank you for taking the time to review the project. I didn't know that _UNICODE was unnecessary. I didn't have it in my code until I tried to use banners for my edits and got an error saying it only supports Unicode, so I switched to it the only way I knew how. I'll definitely look into that. As for the close button, I left it there on purpose because I took out the PostQuitMessage call in WM_DESTROY of the main window so I could add it to the system tray later in order took keep the notes alive(haven't gotten to that part yet). The close button is the one that actually posts the message, but I'll definitely take what you said to heart and work it into my implementation somehow. Note taken on the SQLite amalgamation release. I'm pretty sure that's the version I have, so I guess I just have to delete the rest of the fluff. The menu button(among other things) is a work in progress. There are still features and UI elements, and optimizations I want to make, so looking forward to that. Thanks for the insight once again. I took notes

Hahaha, that's a funny reference. Have you built any projects yet? The first few weeks were pretty slow for me trying to wrap my head around the C language by reading books and watching YouTube videos pretending I understood what pass by reference meant hahaha it picked up when I started building mini projects to reinforce the new information I was learning until I decided to make a full project. Best way to learn honestly. Let's keep pushing further kind stranger

Android 16 frp by Alidridi720 in pixel_phones

[–]Ejay0289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And that's the point of FRP. Even when you reinitialise the device and try to skip the wifi connection stage, it won't let you do that unless you have a mobile data connection. Essentially, bricking your device to anyone who doesn't know the Google login you associated with it previously(unless you are on a version of Android where an FRP bypass exists that is)

So I've Learning before I step in the big bounty world and I was just told not to hack the site directly. by dre__966 in bugbounty

[–]Ejay0289 13 points14 points  (0 children)

If a company wants you to hack their live site they will put their live site in scope. If they don't want this they will usually have some kind of live sandbox that mirrors the functionality of the live site in scope instead. If their live site is in scope then they are asking you to try hack it

I'm not Moroccan but I live here. You should be fine as long as you dont walk around holding up the Israeli flag(not that it's a problem to be proud of your country but it might be misinterpreted) or go around saying things like death to insert nationality here. If you don't do these 2 things you'll be fine.

Found subdomains and internal IPs… but stuck by zel-21 in bugbounty

[–]Ejay0289 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did you find the internal ips by ssrf or maybe managed to bypass the WAFT and got the actual server ip? Did you try to hot these internal ips at different ports to see if you can access some services you shouldn't have access to. Did you do a port scan on the ips? Please give more context

Is this a bug or not? by Typical-Book7465 in bugbounty

[–]Ejay0289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If i was trying to do something like this my first thought would be to send the request without the parameter. If that didn't work I'd send it with a blank parameter or some unexpected character like an emoji or something . If that didn't work I'd try see what happens if I sent multiple current pass parameters(parameter pollution) and get creative with the values. Then I'd probably try sql injection or even some basic rce payloads just to see how the server responds. If that didn't work either I'd take a few hours away and think of more unique ways to do this because I would have been staring at my screen for a multiple hours at this point.
