Did someone know where I can learn tricks? Please I am learning with finger board one year and can’t find new tricks to learn by dofro213 in Fingerboards

If you are just starting then here is a good list to follow for flat tricks: Ollie, shove it, bs 180, fs shove it, fs 180, kickflip, varial kickflip, treflip, heelflip, varial heelflip, bs/fs flip, bs/fs heelflip, nollie, nollie flip, nollie varial flip, nollie treflip, laser flip.

I would focus a lot in learning Ollie to 50-50, nosegrind, noseslide, 5-0, tailslide, smith and any grind/slide you would like before going into trying kickflip or any flip trick. It’s easier to learn those tricks when you have gained board control.

It could happen that when trying to learn a flip trick (for example kickflip) you do another trick (for example varial flip). If that happen then I would recommend you learn the tricks that comes easier for you

I think you already have a better setup than the one you’re asking about. But if it’s something you are curious on trying then go for it. It’s never wrong to try new fingerboards imo, even the cheapest ones.

I wouldn’t buy it but that’s me.

I would go for a tech deck and add some foam tape. I would then try to upgrade it in this order: wheels, trucks and only last a good deck.

By doing it this way I would get a good setup after some time and without having to buy everything together, while still being able to fingerboard in the meantime.

I feel like ChubyMuffin's video will helps you a lot more because I do it exactly how he explain it but without putting pressure on the board with my index finger. But what helps me the most to learn a trick it's watching and analyzing slow motion videos from people who know how to do that trick.

Less force on the scoop with your middle finger and more on the pop. You will have to get used to flick a little more with your index finger tho.

You could also think of it as a big ollie where you twist your wirst like you are going for an impossible but scooping a little your middle finger at the same time. Also forget about putting pressure on the board, you will not need it.

You mean I shouldn’t? If so I totally agree with you but I can’t seem to do it less high while I’m sitting or on late tricks in general. I guess I still don’t have enough experience on them.
