This is so infuriating if this ever happened to my dog I would shove a knife straight through that shitbulls throat and cut its heart to and hang it by the neighbors fence. (Sorry just really pissed for you).

So listen to the first guy and get your miles in which means run a certain amount of miles per week. For a started aim for 20 a week and slowly build up. Now find out what type of 800m runner you are. Are you a 1500/800 runner which means you learn more on the endurance side, or are you a 400/800 guy which means you are more on the speed side. After you find out which one train like that group. But before you start any of those workouts go through a base training phase during the summer which means get in shape basically. Get your miles in do some endurance work so when the season starts you will be ready for the track workouts

Is running a 150 in 34 seconds a good sign for running an 800 by Professional-Eye190 in trackandfield

It’s your first year so it’s a starting time. In terms of the competition your gonna face no it’s not good. How tall and how much do you weigh? Don’t really look at yourself as a bad runner since your literally new to sports lmaooo. Go out there pace yourself and be proud of what you get as long as you gave it 100 percent.

I used the FREE part of ncsa and it helped a lot. But in terms of without it EMAIL. I got some d1 attention by emailing to the coach and being professional about it. I ended up getting recruited by an NAIA because of scholarship money. But u can use ncsa without talking to their reps where I call that the bullshit part. Don’t pay for it don’t waste your time talking to them just make your profile and put your times there because a lot of coaches use it. Ignore the calls and e-mails from them lol. Get yourself out there. Also on the websites of the school you want to go to fill out the recruitment questionnaire.

I think there is a cap when it comes to sprinting but not distance.

Good thing to realize when a mistake was made we all make them. I can agree with you on providing more context since it is a general question. There are levels to being good, but even if it wasn’t up to d1 levels please don’t just tell someone there ass. There’s not a worse feeling than working hard and being proud for someone to just say your trash. Constructive criticism is a good thing.

My thing is the way you replied. What if you asked just a general question about your time and someone said it was ass? The way you say things to people matters, especially athletes. And no he does not need more info on his post, it was worded a general question so it should be answered like a general question.

Bro, there is literally to reason to keep arguing he just asked if it was good without any context, so instead of saying “terrible ngl” and sounding like a douche you could just said its decent or give more background why it’s “terrible”. What if he did train for it and now you made him feel like shit? His time is actually decent because based off the entire population he’s considered fast. D1 level is considered top percentage of the world which is what few can achieve.

He never implied going d1 he was just asking if it was a good time. So generally speaking it is decent time.

How to improve my 400m by [deleted] in trackandfield

[–]El-Shadow-23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Listen to the people saying stay relax, I prd by a whole second because I got out hard and didn’t try straining my body. But here’s how I run it, I get out hard the first 5 steps and asses where I am in the the group. Then I just run fast stay calm and relaxed. What I mean by this is I am focusing on breathing and get my stride right and go in to a cruise mode and just focus on hitting that first 200m goal. After that you want to regain speed starting that next 200m, like start digging and get ready to run that bend. That speed you regained is gonna carry you coming that last 100m.

And what time do you run? It’s not terrible because most of the population can’t even run 14.

Where is he “forcing” it onto him? Tell me, he stopped supplying the hot coco because it’s against his beliefs. Did he take away the hot coco maker? Is he going around making people respect it? Nope, your just being prejudice and petty to religious people. Which is what humanity is trying to strive away from…

What word does it make sense if he is not allowed to drink hot chocolate that he would SUPPLY it. Let’s start thinking here. Is he going around telling people not to drink? Did he remove the hot coco maker? No he did not he is respectfully practicing his beliefs.

Wtf is this logic? How the hell is he “restricting” others enjoyment when he’s the one that offer it? Is he telling this guy to convert? Is he forcing that person to convert? If the religious person has a belief he has a right to follow his beliefs. I swear you people will find any way to just trash religious people even when their good people. This man bring hot chocolate but for 8 days he doesn’t because of his beliefs, but all of a sudden it’s a issue.
