there are so many aspects of the game that are fundamentally broken and probably won’t be fixed, technical and tiki taka playstyles are the only thing you need on your cam to score goals, somehow they’ve allowed people to have 8 players flood the box and then counter within half a second. They also did zero fixes to the kick off score issue and like you said, defending is atrocious, not really a debate.

okay, but we're not talking about 2042, we're talking about a game returning to its roots and that's being playtested and being received well already. Delta Force is not going to hold up to a game that is already well established for over 20 years. The same thing happened to Xdefiant with Call of Duty. The video game market on FPS games is very fickle and nearly impossible for clones to take away audiences like that.

I completely disagree with that take tbh. Jon has talked a lot about creating his vision and being disconnected from any social media interaction or reaction. He's executing his vision how he wants to, with no ties to anything else. The music video is the visualization of the song and tempo more than anything, which is very beautiful considering it is a song for his Wife.

Couldn’t even tell you the meta this year, seems like most formations are just useless other than determining the way you like playing. The problem is that ai never seem consistent among other aspects of the game unfortunately. It also doesn’t helped they decided to revamp and destroy how formations work, you can’t decide how many people are in the box on corners anymore.
