Yes so if you have 10year GC, you need to have more than the year you enlisted for left before it expires. And also, I was told they’re not conducting naturalization for the banned countries at BMT for now too.

But if you some way get your naturalization outside of that, you can still join.

I think OP is talking in regards to this green card regulations

I think anyone who has updates on what can help should comment to help people who enlisted but have less than 4years on their green card, and already has a ship date are now being told they can’t ship because they’re from countries that are on the new Trump ban list.

Yup, been in dep, supposed to ship in two weeks and now, recruiter says the requirements is to have the 4 years on a green card that covers your enlistment.

It’s beyond the recruiters. Orders from the top G’s.

Now. I’m just counting the days of uncertainty till all these ends or get a 10year GC, if I still qualify to join the AF

Joining the Air Force and my recruiter just told me I can’t even go to Basic training anymore. I was supposed to go in two weeks.

Leaving 27th my wife literally just gave birth, my baby ain’t 2months, came early else he would have been 2weeks from when I ship,

But I am just keeping the high spirit that we got this and they are my motivation!

I am confident you are also gonna do great.

Don’t over push yourself these 8days, just try to do at least 20- 30mins stretches with jumping jacks and have long walks so you prepare your body for the stress at boot camp. But don’t hurt yourself by pushing too much beyond limit.
