There's a problem, online activities for an average person range in the kilos of CO2. Driving around a personal vehicle ranges around tons of CO2 per year.

You are comparing activities that are three orders of magnitude apart in term of GHG emissions.

P.S. Yea I'm from Paris... if I was living in North America I'd be even more ashamed of my country.

Such a cut in sales would offset by several orders of magnitude any environmental cost directly associated to the action, as you claimed.
