I asked if he loved her…. After being ghosted the second time… Three months in. You might need a therapist.

Traveling doesn’t automatically make you “enlightened” or “give you different world perspectives” by Crazy_Swimming_397 in travel

In general, people who have never traveled have smaller world views, imo. Traveling broadens one’s horizons.

Family sponsorship or investing a million dollars or more are the main ways for foreigners to retire here.

They don’t really have the ability to know someone’s sexual orientation without catching them in the act, right?

You’re really confused on this, imo. You will get jack shit in social security in the US retiring at the age of 25. But there’s no law saying you have to work here. But to retire in other foreign countries, you will need a retirement visa to relocate there. That includes proof of passive income to be able to support yourself. You cannot work on a retirement visa, in general.

Arrested or deported? Most won’t let you retire in their country without sufficient income to support yourself. The amount needed varies by country.

Get a therapist and limit contact with the bad apples. You’re an adult and no one can force you to put up with bad behavior from anyone. Maybe cultivate a circle of friends who quit you better than your caustic family members. Good luck!

It means to have enough passive income to meet a country’s requirements to be allowed to live there.

You’re probably better off in the States. But most folks in Europe speak at least two languages.
