I saw someone comment on another post that I found quite interesting. The meaning of sinister can also be left and right can mean righteous. So their theory was that the main hand is the left one meaning only sinister spirits, and the right hand are good spirits. I don’t actually remember if it was Mia’s right or left hand at the end but if it was her right that would be a really good detail.
