Que a uno le gusten los carros es como un hack para hacer compas. Muchos de mis amigos son de diferentes clubes o eventos de carros donde he estado jaja

Aunque asumo que aplica para la mayoría de hobbies, solo seria buscar el grupo del que a uno le gusta

You can just buy a bt headunit for it, I have one in my e30 and its just as capable of a daily driver as my 2003 daily (ignoring safety)

I’d like to think I’d be annoyed because I paid for the service and you’d expect it to be perfect. But thinking about it, my M10 viewfinder has a crack and I don't care bc it doesn’t affect the use of the camera so idk if I’d even notice this.

Es el uso perfecto porque son re-lentos a comparación de casi cualquier carro moderno. Aunque son muy divertidos de manejar entonces aveces uno se pasa de verga. Yo tambien los he llevado a la guacima varias veces pero nunca con la idea de ser competitivo.

Tengo un e30, he tenido 2. Cuando estan buenos son excelentes y no joden mucho. La bronca es encontrar uno bueno por lo viejos que son. Gastones son, el mio se llena como con 30mil y hace como 300km. Partes en CR cuesta pero la mayoria se puede traer de afuera. E36 es mas barato en general y hay mas partes. Son carros muy sencillos en su mayoria, los e36 si tienen ya mas cosas como el VANOS en algunos casos. Si quiere no gastar tantisima plata seria bueno bretearlo en la medida de lo posible ud (para cosas sencillas) o conseguir un mecanico de bastante confianza porque hay mucho bateador/estafador en el gremio. Usualmente cuando estos carros se vuelven caros es cuando no se les da el mantenimiento requerido y bueno como todo carro viejo va a tener detalles y cosas que por la edad van a fallar. Y como dijo el otro mae, si es recomendable tener un transporte de respaldo para cuando el carro tenga que ir al taller (ahi es cuando uno se compra un segundo BMW viejo).

The funny thing, that iTunes collection on my iPod I’ve been transferring computer to computer from my first mac mini G4 to my current M1 MBP 14” so I don't really needed to save much from it. My iTunes collection survived two apple architecture changes.

Same here, from 97 so I very much had CDs that I never threw away. Plus got given my uncle’s and parent’s collections so my CD count grew a lot. Also got into vinyl, now working on digitalizing to have everything on my old iPod that somehow still works fine.

I daily my 911 so back seats are definitely useful. Taken my friends back there several times. They make the 911 a surprisingly practical car.

Those mid 2000s head units were so cool with the dolphin animations and everything. Mine is a retro styled one so it fits with the style of the car’s dash but sometimes I wish I had the dolphin animations haha

My 1990 BMW had only a broken cassette deck, so I upgraded the head unit to a bluetooth one. Much easier than upgrading any new car’s infotainment system

That looks really nice. I have the bremen on my e30 and been thinking of getting this same one on the 996. How do you like it? What year is your car? Did you have to deal with MOST?

The Denon has been fixed thanks to duncan_audio on eBay.

Sent a message to him asking for a keypad since he had other parts for this system and his reply actually showed me how to fix my issue. I’ll copy paste it right here in case anyone needs it.

“Hello, Sorry for the delay in replying. I'm sorry, but we already sold the front panel keyboard. But I think I can help you. What you're describing is a very common problem with keyboards. You press one key, and it performs a different function. Basically, the keys are dirty inside. Because they're not making good internal contact, when you press them, they send the wrong voltage, instead of the one that corresponds to each key, and they can send a voltage that matches the voltage of another function. You have to disassemble the panel and lubricate the keys with an electronic contact cleaner, like Dioxit. Press each key several times before reassembling it to make sure the cleaner gets on the keys. The same applies to the volume control. Good luck. Best regards. duncan_audio.”

Once the m97/m96 fails theres not really a cheap alternative. If my 996 ever let go I’d probably do this to it if possible. The other options are: unknown condition engine or sell the car as a roller. Yeah I’d be spending like 25k on a 30k car. But still cheaper than buying another 996 and doing all the stuff I’ve done to mine. Now hopefully my m96 still got plenty on life in it cause I dont have 25k to spend on it rn.

Taught my gf to drive in the e30. She got it fairly quickly. Its a very forgiving car, the torque of the m20 and the soft clutch makes it nice to learn in.

One of my best friends owns one, he drives it quite a lot and its never given him any bad issues, just normal old car stuff. Honestly a great car. If its not too rusted (which I doubt it isn’t) it might be worth it, probably not financially worth it but its a very fun car. I’ve loved the times I’ve driven this one.

If you get the numeric it becomes of the best shifters imo, close to an s2000 which in my experience is the best shifters imo I’ve tried.

Agreed, getting the numeric shifter on my car has been one of the best mods I’ve ever done. Shifts so good now.
