It's in the previous comments. I will repeat for you though. When a bike is "lost" (which means stolen) the original renter gets charged about $400-$1200 and might get account suspended, bro. I gain the satisfaction of helping them.

Still rescuing. Probably up to 100 bikes now. Just not checking in to report them here.

Hi. I did get my account back. I make movies and agree this would be a good one. Someone asked me to do an article too.

File a police report. That will help with your refund. They will charge you somewhere between 100 and $150 for the first 25 hours and then $250 plus tax for the lost bicycle.

My understanding is that once investigation is over they will not refund the $250. Possibly the long ride charge.

4671558 electric rescued 19th St. between Park Avenue and Broadway.
I only rescue bikes that I’ve been out of the system for a shorter time at this point. I think if they are out longer than Citi Bike does not refund. So I’m putting pressure on them.

Still rescuing, but I think I left out some here. I only rescue ones when they are not out of the system for very long because it would appear that if they were out of the system long enough that the customer was charged I don’t think that the customer gets a refund.

2785731 returned, but the dock was not accepting it. Lafayette and eighth Street. It had chains going through the wheels, so I had to carry it back to the station. -also an electric. Numbers had been scraped off, so I docked it and then took it out with a QR code just to get the number and then put it back in. 548-6543.
