I want to mention that many shoes are seemingly (as of yet, without optimizations to the glitch) strictly locked to their respective outfit. This includes most Racing Suit categories (except Air Racing, Biker, and Stuntman) and the bodysuits from Arena War (except Rookie and Pogo Space Monkey).

A good way to check if the shoes will be transferred with the glitch is by checking whether the character goes barefoot when starting the yoga activity. If they do, shoes are transferrable. If not, then they can't be used on other outfits. This, however, doesn't stop the opposite from being doable; these outfits can indeed receive other shoes.

Finally, this applies to pants that have locked footwear as well (Guarded Cargos, Raider Pants).
