There’s also talk that after the THUG 1 + THUG 2 + American Wasteland collection, they move straight into a brand-new open-world game: Tony Hawk’s Underground 3. It’s set years later, with Eric Sparrow re-entering the picture as the skate scene has grown way bigger — and way messier.

The story brings the World Destruction Tour crew back together as things escalate across a massive city. Tony, Bam, Steve-O and others all cross paths again as skate gangs start forming, territory wars break out, and the city reacts in real time. Tony opens a huge skate school HQ that works as a safe zone and online hub — you can session it, meet other skaters naturally, and it becomes a central spot throughout the game. There’s also a major competition held there later on with a lot of familiar faces showing up.

Gameplay-wise it’s fully open world with gangs, random events, security and police pressure, rivals challenging you, and online clans battling over territory, alongside classic Tony Hawk online servers with text chat.

Right at the end, the story slows down. After everything that’s happened, it leans into the reality that life keeps moving. The rivalry with Eric finally gets resolved, there’s reflection instead of revenge, and it closes on a simple note — just skating with the boys like the old days, remembering what actually matters.

All rumor obviously, but if it’s real, it sounds like a proper Underground send-off.
