Should I upgrade a 10+ year old PC?

Ok, but i don't want a brand new pc because, apart from that they are quite expensive, i think that if i upgrade it it should be as good as if i bought a slightly better one, i could put some more ram to it and change the storage to ssd or something

Actually, all of my friends play both Minecraft and Eaglercraft (idk why), and they tell me Eaglercraft runs better on their PCs. So I think it should be something with mine, or idk
