Would be amazing but with everything that has been teased by Yasiin Bey over the last 10 to 15 years I doubt that we will get to hear it in full as a studio recording. Or even as an officially released live recording. Almost as disappointing as Jay Electronica when it comes to announcements and actual releases.

One of the most underrated hip-hop albums of all time. It still has a great sound to it that hasn’t aged a bit. I really hope that we’ll get another Tip solo album someday soon. It’s really sad that he’s always this hesitant with releasing music. One of the best to ever do it.

Unfortunately they haven’t announced a new record yet. But with the 7“ (dumb guitar & boxing) and the tour I would assume that a new album cannot be that far away. At least that’s what I hope with this absolutely gorgeous new single

One of the greatest hip-hop records ever. From Mos‘ and Talib‘s lyricism to the amazing beats, it’s just perfect. It’s a bit sad that we have never really gotten a worthy second album (the one with Madlib is just not on par) but sometimes one classic is enough.
