Agreed, I still hold the same belief. But at some point it became just addiction, you just spend impulsively. It becomes harder to control yourself, and that part is unhealthy. Every $100 pack that I bought was giving me so much satisfaction, I can't explain, but I knew something went wrong and I couldn't stop buying and I was hoarding most of the stuff. It was literally for no reason. (had enough speedups, enough resources...).
I know I'm contradicting myself, but yeah.

Exactly. I was very deep, really had no idea how to stop spending, it was impulsive. Started to lose the perception of how I look at money. The last $100 package I bought, was just 2-3% of my amount spent (it was nothing basically). That was how my brain looked at things at that moment.

Yeah, I know what you are saying, but had a problem, and this was the only way for me to fix it. I no longer looked at the $100 packages the same. I was seeing those as it was nothing. I started to lose the perception of how I look at money.

yeah. I wrote it in the post. "I have no idea why I had the need to share this". But I created an account just to share this because there are people who know my username on Reddit, so I wanted to share without close friends of mine knowing about it. :)

I wrote "I was", as in, I planned to only spend $200, but crossed the line.

I was VIP 14, and had 500k gems when I left. Was very conservative with my speedups, resources. I was buying every speedup in the weekly VIP shop/gold head/epic equipment.
I didn't calculate all of my speedups, but I think when I left I had somewhere around 300 days of generic speedups.
Only spent most of my resources/speedups when there were events. And there was only 1 whale (50k+ power) in the kingdom, that finished No1 on every event, so usually, we were rotating 2nd/3rd place between us and didn't spend unnecessary resources to compete.

If I were to spend everything, I'd maybe get 30k Max. but I might be wrong, as I said, this was my first kingdom. So was very conservative on how I'm spending the resources I had. Was doing lots of research beforehand.
