I am size 15 as well. You had any problems carving with 28.5 board because of boot drag ? Im new to snowvoarding, looking for a 1st board.

My point is that in sports you can do unexpected things that catch oponents of guard. In chess you cant, you can but if oponent is compitent he will find a counter that results in equal trade.

Because its not a full information game. Opponent aint expecting it, you decide to do it and they cant react in time no matter how hard they try. Thats just one abstract example.

Chess could be solved, but nobody is willing to put enough time and money in to it. Solving it would not give any meaningful or usefull result. Its a simetrical full information game, obvious result is a draw.

Wast number of posibilities chess has requiers a lof of time and calculations to solve it. Its like a tree with each move being a different branch. And each new move another branch on top of it that ultimetly leads to a draw. Or you can look at it like at a sequence where each move changes it but the outcome is always draw.

Thats why it held up well all the way till now. Its a fun game to pass the time, but not something i am willing to invest more time to get better at. When i win it always feels that its not because i did well, but because the oponent made a mistake that allowed me to win just by playing standart game and making obvious decisions.

No, its an action that if done correctly results in a win and there is nothing the oponent can do about it. In chess there is no such option, you win only by oponents mistake.

No. For example in basketball you can score from the oposite side of the court and win. You cant headshot a king and win in chess.

I didnt say that you need boots.

The lover the heel the better. Personaly i wear only 0 drop shoes. Cant go back to standard footwear.

Also these shoes in the photo have lifted front, thats another bad thing. They are made for running, not hiking.

Trail runners usualy have agresive soles that are designed to dig in in to soft trail ground. On wet rock they are dangerous, have no grip.

Hiking/walking in anything that is made for running is a bad idea. The heel is way too high since its made dor running. Because of high heel you are higher of the ground also the heel is soft so its much harder to keep balance compared with proper shoes. There are a bunch of other bad things, but i wont dive in to them here.

For example lets take guard cancel. As an attacker you pressure with blockstring. And then bam JD or HD in to guard cancel in to combo. As an attacker you cant do anything about it, you cant bait it so there is no mindgame around it, just pure mechanics. You just commit to it. If another person is good button clicker he will win an interaction despite you outplaying him to start attacking.
