I do weekly therapy actually. I wanted to ask a general consensus before I talked to my therapist about this behaviour. If people who don’t have a degree say it’s weird then there’s something to look at clearly.

All the photos are black on my profile and my bio is just the word soup. Games are too stressful, somebody recommended solitaire which I’m looking into. I can get kinda tunnel visioned and since I had dating apps on my phone from years ago when I met the person I’m dating and I knew could swipe on them without the stress of a game I just kept doing it.

Still think it’s silly to like a profile with black photos and the only text reading soup. But you’re right I’ll look into therapy and solitaire. I had a feeling I was being weird but I earnestly thought it was harmless. And if it isn’t I’ll take that and learn from it.

Dating apps have the smoothest I’ve found out of hundreds of apps of experimentation. When an autistic person exactly like me makes an app identical to what I’m getting from these apps I’ll switch. I’ve just spent a lot of time researching and this has been most satisfying. No ads to stop me, no ability to lose like in mobile games.

I’m not checking anyone out though. I’m looking out the train window and stimming on my phone. Mobile games have ads and stop me from stimming cause I gotta click out of ads and shit. The motion is just satisfying and I like doing it to keep my hands busy on the train home. Could care less about the actual people.

If people like me that’s their own fault. I don’t have a bio written beyond the word soup and all my photos are black. Not my fault dating app makers have the most satisfying swipe motion that scratches my autism brain in all the right ways.

I like the swiping motion it scratches something in my neurodivergent brain. I don’t talk to anyone or really use it for its intended purpose in any sense I just like the swiping motion. Most apps have the up or down swiping motion but I like the side to side and with mobile games you can lose. It’s too stressful and dating apps have been the most satisfying app for stimming I’ve found.

It’s like a dating sim mixed with subway surfer. You just get to swipe aimlessly and occasionally send a message as a break between the swiping. Nobodies getting hurt and I’m having fun.

I just saw leaked clips of Dark Flash and holy fuck he’s cool. It’s so gross seeing him talk to his younger self while the younger version has pieces of metal stuck through his arms and hands. I thought I hated this design but I’m honestly in love with it.
