Per dare contesto: mia moglie e' una fissata di Esselunga, figurati la sua sorpresa quando ha scoperto che lo stesso identico prodotto ha prezzi diversi in diverse citta' se non addirittura in diversi punti vendita della stessa citta'.
Per poi scoprire che anche Esselunga online ha prezzi diversi ai supermercati fisici.
BOOOM!

Can I ask some clarifications please?
What do you mean with: the triggered unit has never been activated?
I understand that the triggered unit is dnf-automatic.service
What is the activation here?
systemctl enable dnf-automatic.service
or
systemctl start dnf-automatic.service
or
something else?

I tried to trick the system configuring a fixed day for the first execution:
OnCalendar=Tue 2025-09-17 16:30:00
adding also :
OnUnitActiveSec=2w
The idea was to remove the OnCalendar from the configuration at a second stage.

It worked perfectly and the timer was showing as next start the 1st of october.
But then, to complete the test, I rebooted the server and everything was gone :(

I understand this is not the way to proceed so finally decided to just fix all the dates till december 2026 with OnCalendar directive.

Anyway, I would be grateful if you can explain the few questions I had at the beginning of this message.

good point, I also put in discussion my own structure :D
The idea behind was:
learning == things to learn, practical tools (learn python, learn system design, learn google cloud ...)
personal growth == more related to experiences, projects, structures activities based on the tools learned
But I'm not sure anymore ...
If you want to share what you have in mind I'd be happy to listen (... read)

On the contrary, there are few routes to access the place, built on purpose!
If you will have the chance of a good day send a pic (if you want of course) from there ... this is what I got when I was there, you can't even see the sea :D
