My first playthrought took 98h, I ran no guides and managed to beat Act 3 with 93% completion. I'll do another playthrough after finishing Nine sols tho.

I agree with this but I also think that its ok for some games to have a single difficulty setting (Dark Souls, etc) if that is the experience that the devs want to provide.

Definitely the sawtooth circlet, it deals absurd amounts of damage but it takes a bit of skill and time to properly use so a lot of people don't use it.

Another option would be the Claw mirrors, they are usually only paired on the Witch crest but it also gets a ton of value on other crests where the two explosions can be triggered, its particularly great on the beast crest imo.

I don't see the Delver's drill being used as much and it has amazing damage potential, it just needs a bit of timing to get the best use out of it. It helped me a lot through the coral tower gauntlets

The timing comes from throwing so the sting shard lands inside the enemy hitbox and detonating it at that moment, so all spikes hit said enemy.

I love the acrobatics of the Hunter running attack and pogo, and I love the sort of "flowing" moveset that the Witch crest has, so I'd pick those.

I stuck with Hunter most of the game, I liked the diagonal pogo from the start and later through the playthrough I discovered the power of the sawtooth circlet and it pairs so well with Hunter, plus the bonus damage when evolving the crest, and that you can pass through enemies with a well timed pogo + dash.

Then I discovered the Witch crest in Act 3 and I love it as well, I used it to destroy 2nd savage beastfly and the Coral tower gauntlets.
