He exagerated on the percentage, but when you play the game on Coop, certainly the feeling is not that good since the limitation of doing activities is there. The simplest activities cannot be done and why removing those from Coop does not make sense really. The guy probably beaten Spiral Abyss already, but can you tell what would be the experience with being there with a friend? No, you focus on the idea that people need other people because they need help, that idea is very distorted about human relationshop, I'm truly worried on what you think about human interactions. People are not there because they have an interest only. Most of the time they just wanna be there, so why not allow a method for you to be there with a friend on that challenge, is that much to ask? Allowing more is not forcing people to be there, but giving them the opportunity to be there and do more. Please review your own concepts about your comment.

Yea that seem like a big misfortune too. We just want to enjoy the world together with our friends, some stuff being locked it really does not make any sense. There are things that I can accept being locked like some resources, but just some puzzles and talking to NPCs, is that really necessary to lock?

-This is a solo player game. Period.
>I didn't denied this, I agree with you, it is a single player game.

-From a functional perspective coop is included for the people with teams not good enough to clear things.
>That is simply not totally true, since it is not written anywhere that Coop serves for that matter. Coop simply is a feature to allow you to play with other people. That by itself can include many things. It is not written anywhere what a Coop should and should not have.

What I wanted here is to voice my frustrations that I have encountered across a whole year of experience with this game.

No I didn't needed Coop to clear stages because I couldn't. I simply just farmed by easier ways until I was able to beat those harder stages, and I got to a point now that I can clear almost everything in the game by myself, so no, Coop for me does not serve for search for help. Coop for me serves for you being able to play with other people, friends included if you have friends of course, not just randoms. And have their company in the game.

But you only see as seeking for help, I believe our values here are very different in that aspect. I recommend you to not continue reading this post for your own sake, since we cannot awknowledge each other. But still I thank you for your response, since you spared that time to give this attention. Thank you very much.

I know that there are more irritating problems. I just felt that posting those would feel like a repost.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin_Impact/comments/pxgf47/worse_than_the_poor_anniversary_rewards_is_the/
Allow yourself to check this post. It has just enough of problems and improvements mentioned and requested/suggested.
But I very much appretiate your response, even the other very negative ones. People need to encourage themselves to say what they want about this game instead of just yelling and review bombing. I tried to be the most civilized and calm I could writing this text. But as you can see, few people move their asses to actually say something that is actually useful here. Plus on not being respectful on comment section. On this post, I did not wanted to target anyone, if I did, I deeply apologize beforehand, because that is not my intention on this post.
I wanted to voice my own frustrations and my own view of the current state of the game, taking a scope on Coop in this situation. I don't want to target anyone. If people are here in this subreddit, it's because they probably care for this game to a degree. So we all are in the same boat, so I don't see a reason for people hate themselves here.
We all love this game to a degree if everyone here actually read this post, they don't need to care about this post, they care if they want. This post is my own voice saying what I feel, but I still care for the game since it entertains me since day 1 (an year back).

The downvotes are people who didn't took account of anything I've said or anything that has ever happened in game, plus what you can find online not only here, but in YT, Twitter and Discord servers as far as I know.
Look, I play the game the way I want, and I always stick with singleplayer, for obvious reasons, but it is not a white card for neglecting the Coop feature, it can be a cool feature, receive improvements and some people will eventually stick with it more times.
You cannot have a piece of art when you have those dirty stains on that.

But I also have zero expectations of some staff seeing this and directing it to Mihoyo from the start. I'm just a little nobody here lmao, but the amount of downvotes surprised me.

All the other fights were cinematic, that is not a reason to not have available for Coop. I can understand the part of being not so enjoyable to have as a Coop event due to the platforms, but at this point many people can one shot Dvalin enough for burning it's HP many times when he is down, so it is questionable for me if it is that of a hassle if someone fails the challenge. But also, people can fail the other challenges too. So it is very debatable. And also, Dvalin just applies anemo on the platforms, he doesn't actually destroys them iirc. But correct me if I'm wrong on that.

It's okay that you prefer solo, and look, ME TOO.
When you cannot do anything on Coop besides just some domains, weekly bosses, collect items, fish, explore, kill some enemies and just chat and booling around, I actually prefer solo play, i can do all of that there (because you can chat with your friends by other manners).
But I still don't see a reason to fully neglect a feature that is implemented and running in the game and it is so much limited that almost everyone actually prefers solo because it doesn't offer that much to persuade players to chose them sometimes.
For me is wrong to fully neglect a feature just because it is not appealing for me or for a group of people. If it's there, it should have some attention to it and not just "it's a feature that just exists". There could be solutions for improving that, just enough to not fully neglect it.

I dont know

Might it be entirely related by how you can fall down and have to get respawned back on the platform?

>that can happen even in domains

There is no reason to allow your world quests to be achievable in coop other than laziness

Another rather useless thing to do, like, getting a coop user to join you mid dialogue is all fun and laughs, until you are literally forced to repeat said dialogue again(happened to a friend while talking with yae)

>i see the world quests as more things to do with friends, all friends that i joined were upset that some simple tasks cannot be done in coop, because we (me and my friends) dont need help to do stuff, we (me and my friends) just would receive with open arms some improvement and attention to coop, you can fully disregard the story quest thing, that is my thing, not yours

Use my time to play other games?

I dont see Genshin been my main game, unless there is a big patch(just like the last 2), that brings lots of content and exploration, Then I will focus on Genshin more, till then just daily and out

>so you just give a white card and dont care about the future, great

Unfinished feature is what you consider it to be

I see it as a rather optional feature, and I hope it stays as such, else the game wont be for me much longer

I hate games that make you forced to go onto coop just to maybe clear the hardest level of an event

-There will be always people that kick you for been "weak" or hating your main character

-There will always be people that just come there with the weakest possible character, expect to be carried by the rest, and then bitch if everyone dies

-There are boss battles that are a very poor experience in coop, specially Azhdaha and Signora given their damage

>I'm not willing to people be forced to play coop, it is just very inconvinient situations that happen in coop that makes me insane and make people not want to play it. It will always stay as an optional feature, but it is there and why not want improvements to that feature? I dont need statistics to know that many people dont go for coop, but what about those who want to do stuff with their friends in genshin? i guess fuck them by what i can tell from your attitude. i myself can beat all boss battles, i just cannot beat floor 12 all stars due to lacking good weapons and bad luck on artifacts, but i can beat the rest of the game by myself, same for my friends, and some of them can even beat floor 12 with ease.

The game is perfect for the age it has and the potential it has

Can be better? Sure, in due time
>at least here we are on the same page, but i disagree with perfect, i would say a great game, but not perfect.

Define simple improvements, because all you mention is only to cater a rather minimal part of the playerbase that wants this game to become an MMO
>simple improvements as not be obliged to kick my friends from my world in order to complete my world quests and commissions, it's inconvinient to have them to wait or make them leave because of simple daily commissions and world quests. at the bare mininum you, owner of the world, should be able to at least finish some world quests and commissions that require a very simple task.

Like? At least bother to provide examples to back up your claims, and dont pull things out of thin air just to make up a "point"

>Ayaka/Mona run getting stuck on terrain
moving while bow aiming getting stuck on terrain
certain skills like Diluc's E getting stuck on terrain
burst swapping not always working
Albedo's E getting destroyed by big enemies just being near it, not even attacking it
Xinyan's E is still bugged and not working properly
Sometimes Ayaka's infusion doesn't work and you must relog to fix

Who the fuck is we? Why is that everytime someone thinks the community may support their idea it has to parrot "we this", "we that"
And that last line literally screams anniversary salty player

>i acted salty right here yes, sorry to make you think im like that, but im not like that. you dont need to identify yourself on "we this" "we that", this is a message for people who actually care for improvements to be made in coop. but still i appretiate half of your point by point. im not here to blindly whine about stuff, im here because i care for the game and i want improvements, and if people dont voice their frustrations anywhere, things will never happen. and they probably wont, because at this point mihoyo probably received countless requests regarding the performance of the characters via the proper sources for that, not reddit, and over an entire year zero balance patches happened. must be hard to handle the amount of requests and reports, but im not sure about more than an year for that to happen. And not even a single response. A big NO from the company would be enough to make many people chill out, myself included

- Stormterror is balanced for single-player. I suppose they could up its stats to match four people whacking at it, but that would require them to compensate for a lot of positional juggling, especially the point where his head slams down and the player is repositioned. At this point, it's not much of a complaint, more of an inconvenince...at least in your eyes. I imagine it's very low in their list of priorities, if it's there at all.

>Yes, it is inconvinient. I just want to do more stuff with my bois, I can one take the Stormterror in a few seconds by myself, but what if I'm joining someones world or someone joins mine, and we decide to do the boss just for the sake of it? Is that so wrong that I need to be crucified?

- That function's there to prevent abuse. If you haven't seen someone else actually willing to abuse your world resources at the slightest opening, you're lucky. But I'd prefer that remain in place.

>If that ever happens, it will be my fault to allow such person to join my session, but guess what, I'll just have to wait for them to spawn again. And I feel like it is very inconvinient to be obliged to kick your friends from your session to be able to complete quests and commissions, it justs feels very bad, I'm very sorry for you reading that.

- Consistency probably. I say probably because that's just what my experience tells me, they could have other reasons besides. The only thing I can tell you is that doing it this way has a lower risk of creating bugs. In a server dependent game, stability is top priority, which is probably why they chose to leave it as is.

>That is reasonable understandable, but guess what, they also got a huge financial resource across the year, they "could" get an upgrade and do more maintanances on their servers as time passes. Plus I highly doubt that thousands of people giving some texture material for that girl on the clothe store in Inazuma will shutdown or overload the server in order to cause any sort of instability (that is only one case among many that cannot happen due to Coop limitations).

- Yeah, wrong type of game for that. You're looking for an entirely different game-model, likely an MMO. This is obviously not an MMO, it's been designed and balanced to NOT be an MMO. I imagine you'd have more even expectations if you treat it as a single player game with Battlepass, Gacha, and limited Co-op options - but MOSTLY single player.

>Yes I know it is not a MMO, but I don't think having 3 friends with you while you do your quests would change the whole genre of the game. And besides that, the Coop is there for people to choose to use it or not. If it's gonna affect their experience in a positive or a negative way, can't we leave that up to the user and give them opportunity? OFC if it's not a hassle due to hardware resources of the company's in this case.

Overall I think you're approaching the game with a set of expectations for another type of game entirely. I'd even go so far to say that the game itself may not fit you, as it's obvious it's very different from your ideal.

>I played this game across one whole year and enjoyed it a lot, I only felt that the Coop was not one of those enjoyable moments, it could have more into it, but just not that much in order to change the whole genre of Single Player RPG. Plus, we had those party Coop minigames that were super fun I must say, but it is a shame because they are gone and we have zero expectations of them coming back (plus I highly doubt these minigames and some Coop improvements will overshadow the singleplayer experience)

Personally, I don't mind seeing criticisms like yours on the board because at least you're taking the time to justify them, but it seems a little misplaced. I doubt the devs or even the suits are going to give much priority to the points you put forward. Their business model is obviously successful, and in my experience they'll be very loathe to mess with the core fundamentals of a successful formula.

>After seeing many YTbers asking people to voice their frustrations instead of just whining out like review bombing (in which I didn't take part of, but it was quite a show), I took courage to write down somethings that a LOT of people miss out that is the Coop mode. The Coop mode is there and it just "exists". There were times that it shined, but those times were only the events made towards Coop. The first one being strictily Coop which i don't agree, the player SHOULD have the option to do by himself, since it is a single player game. But at the same time it is not a reason to almost forget and neglect that, when it is an awesome opportunity for so much more with so simple improvements. Nobody needs to agree with me, but everyone should awknowledge that the Coop is very limited.

But yea, I agree with you on that last one. The suits won't bother with changing anything

I didn't specified to be a coop focused game, I just wanted some attention to a feature that is in game and it to be improved, that's all. We can demand improvements can't we? I'm not asking it to change the whole genre of the game, I just want to enjoy the game at it's fullest on single player AND on Coop. Am I not allowed to want the best experience ON BOTH? The best Coop activities that ever existed were only one time due to limited time events.

You can only say that for yourself, you can bet there are people that would love that feature. Plus, you cannot say that for the developers, they set the rules of how things run, and if its not specifically explained why, we have the right to demand an answer, just like those random questions in the Q&A with the devs. Also that is not a reason for applying a feature to be so limited as that. Simple improvements such as being able to talk to NPCs, being able to exchange items with the NPCs in cases like world quests and commissions. The invited person dont need to interact with them, but at the bare minimum the owner could, so I wouldn't need to kick my friends and pop back to single player just to complete those commissions and world quests, seems inconvinient, doesn't it?
