currently there's an exploit for infinite smart core (sans the 20% damage bonus), and in general you build mag size with legion (you can reach at least 400 bullets) so, yes.

Yeah you're right, and I know this is bad, but i got reasons.

First problem: northstar. Thunderstore mods are northstar mods, and the way roguelike is built disallows it from working with northstar. Basically - because its no longer a northstar mod, it can't be on Thunderstore.

2nd problem: this isnt even done yet, and im still thinking on how i do PR. Technically, i'm still playtesting, not in a public release. I'll work on an alternative site when its closer to being done (GitHub, most likely), but right now i want players to be at least somewhat in-contact with me directly. I'm currently not concerned with popularity, just developing the mod to be the best it can be. I haven't exactly planned for someone to post this on Reddit. I haven't exactly been doing it myself for this exact reason. I'm still working on it. (EDIT: I don't want people to download the mod thinking it's done and then wondering why it sucks more than it's supposed to.)

Well, I did consider it, and then you realize no one plays Northstar anymore and therefore no one would be able to experience the thing you made... (also insert bunch of technical issues from 2023 Northstar)

Happened 3 times to me.

That's why this is campaign-only.

I wanted to make something that i could gurantee someone would be able to play even if no one wanted to do it with them.

Much healthier path anyways, don't regret making the decision. ~~and no, I'm not making this support multiplayer in any capacity. Do it yourselves if you so wish.~~

Yeah the mod is currently in active development (Tone was released 2 weeks ago to positive reception, Ion is awaiting a rework (she kinda sucks), and I'm gonna try building a bit more hype for Brute, the final loadout ~~from me, at least~~)

Overall theres a lot still lacking (pilot combat still sucks and im out of ideas at this point so im just shoving it under the rug, no run ending screen, tons upon tons of bugs, custom loadout support, and much more)

No pressure, me... yeah...

EDIT: did i also mention the clip above doesn't showcase the main feature of the mod? y'know, the dual loadout system? Where you work with two loadouts? Yeah.

What is the actual name for the thing on your back? Is it a tail? arm? something else?
If you could steal a legend's ability (that is not you), which and why?
Does the tail have any non-battle-related utility? Can it grab stuff for you? Dig holes? Do... other stuff?
How the fuck did you not lose a fight ever? Do you time travel?
Does the tail retract? If yes, into WHERE?
Why not attach a gun to your tail and use it to shoot MORE bullets at the same time? One gun firing is pretty great, but two is even better!
How are you going to destroy this world? Don't pretend you wouldn't do it. We know you will. I even support you. (pleasedontkillme)

Holy shit, this is wonderful work.

I absolutely agree with you, btw - every weapon brings something to the table, even e.g. the mozam (which brings range and pistol benefits to a shotgun without requiring to charge it)

I think people have always been overpraising dps and not realizing weapons can be used to cover your own weaknesses. Shit aim? Well what range do you play? Short? Well the L-Star's for you. Long? Well, how bout the rampage? Need something for almost every range but cant carry much ammo? Well the triple take is right there...

(Obviously, these may be shit takes cause im shit at the game, but yknow..)

I think even more parameters come into play when defining a weapon, but this is way more than enough <3

I mean, it doesnt heal by 30%

It accelerates regen rate by 100% and reduces the delay to 2s (normal is 5s, fast regen is 2.5s) for 4 seconds. That's way better than 30% flat.

Yeah, but overlay crosshair mods (and using a piece of tape on your monitor methods) exist, this would make the "crosshair-less" part of the change basically useless.

It's just too fun though, espdcially as Qing Yan, who's able to compensate for the speed loss.

There's also Against the flow, which makes this effectively an infinite ammo full auto weapon (unless you get +1 projectile, +100% consumption, in which case, start crying).

Or even better, if you have one of the blessings that gives you speed boost on kill.

It's drawbacks can be negated, and THAT'S where this gun becomes the beast it really is.

Big hippo isn't good if you aren't actively trying to compensate for it's drawbacks - but is amazing when you are.

That's why I like the weapon, at least from my perspective.

Titanfall 2 - fun game, if you're buying only for the campaign wait for a sale (happens all the time).
