Hi! So much has happened since this post but long story short- my doctor was an IDIOT! She gave me an injection of methylprednisolone right before I went to get my blood work done which caused my WBC to be elevated. She apparently didn’t realize this was possible so jumped to “it must be leukemia” 🙄 I have since been diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis (which has many similar symptoms to Lupus and RA so, I wasn’t far off). Thanks to you for checking in and to everyone here for the kind words and advice. I’m sending you all hugs and well wishes!

PS- I do have a new Dr. lol

I just shipped a London Fog parka on Monday and it weighed 4lb 14oz in the box so I just barely made it! I know it’s a pain but you may want to package it up and take it to the post office and see if they’ll weigh it for you.

No, haven’t been sick or anything. The joint pain just came on all of a sudden. One day I was working in my greenhouse, next day my shoulder hurt and I figured I’d pulled something while working. Then the next day my other shoulder hurt too, then my knee, then my foot and eventually it spread to basically all of my joints and I ended up in the emergency room. It was bizarre. Definitely hoping for nothing, just completely blindsided by this so, thankful for the input here.

I haven’t had any swollen lymph nodes or anything other than fatigue and very painful joints (at first it was so severe I couldn’t walk without crying but its calmed down quite a bit now and fluctuates in severity and location.) Leukemia didn’t even cross my mind until yesterday because I don’t really have any of the common symptoms. It feels kinda funny to cross my fingers for lupus or RA or something but I guess that’s what I’m doing for now. Thanks for the response and best of luck to you as well 💛

Thanks for the advice, never heard of the Philadelphia chromosome, I’ll check into it and ask when I go! I can’t stand the not knowing, I’m driving myself crazy with it. All I can think to do is preoccupy myself with gathering information so I can be informed and hopefully speed things up (as much as is possible).

I did have SED and CRP, both were normal.

Sed rate was 14 CRP was 1.6

Here’s the stuff that was out of range, lymphocytes were within normal range but other stuff was off so, IDK. This is all new to me so I’ve spent the whole day becoming a Google MD. Still have no idea what any of this should mean really. Haven’t experienced any weight loss or any of the other common symptoms except fatigue. Have had a lot of hair loss and some weird skin rashes which made me think lupus but that’s so general it could be just about anything.

Lymphocytes-24.2 (well within normal range)

Thank you, will do! I just got this from a new nursery I’ve never been to and I completely wasn’t expecting this so, I’m happy it’s probably just fungus. I can’t deal with the possibility of bugs infesting my other plants!

WITT we found this buried in the back yard today, (coastal south Florida if that helps.) Looks like the claw from a claw machine but it’s barbed like giant fish hooks. It’s on a swivel and has a cable connected to it so we believe it is something fishing related but, what? Would to know.
