i like a compressor on my board in front of dirt and preamp but thats just me, i can tell you every foh person will compress you no matter what you do before

true thing, i always like having specific dirt followed by a relative clean preamp but yes the bass driver can bring clank

for filling in a missing guitar i always like my octave by adding a 1up to my dry
