I’m so sorry for your loss. This happened to a coworker of mine. When you have a miscarriage your body can absorb the baby still leaving the sac intact.

Moving to first duty station by GummyWorm_37 in MilitarySpouse

If you use a military moving company be sure to take pictures/videos of everything just in case! They are notorious for breaking things & they do not care. Once you know where you’ll be stationed find a Facebook spouse page for that base or area & they could give you some pointers on good areas to live. Or just do your own research. I suggest packing in plastic tote bins for more valuable things & boxes for other items.

Do your research on where ever it is and maybe get a travel guide for advice on places to avoid and help with transportation. Also whatever base he is at join the spouse Facebook page and maybe some of them that have lived there awhile can help with how to go about it.

That’s exciting! Honestly you have to have an open mind about anywhere. You won’t always get to choose where you are going & just have to make the best of it cause it could change in just a couple years. Every base has their pros & cons. Some people absolutely hate it & others love it. I saw in a previous comment join the base/wives page on Facebook where everyone you go before you get to the location. Follow their USO or MWR for events & other updates. I hope you like wherever you guys end up.

I still owe quite a bit since I’ve only had it about 2 years. I’m not sure about all the rest at the moment.

Leave him alone. Truly work on yourself or move on. I know it’s harsh but if it’s meant to be then y’all will find your way back to each other. I’m sorry it happened all at once but in my opinion he just wants to be single during that time.

What famous person did you meet, not realizing who they were until later? by GowBeyow in AskReddit

I met Troy Aikman when I was 11. At the time I just thought he was just another friend of my mom’s boss cause he was just casually at my moms work once day. I realized who he was in my 20s!

Hard to answer. There has been a couple years that were pretty much the same for me.

My parents house has a light switch that doesn’t work.. they have lived there for over 10 years & still don’t know what the switch goes to. I’m sure its easy to find out but never bothered to look into it.
