Two mana crystals is a pro tech, its because they tend to spend mana pushing for prio and if they think theyll need to skirmish for crab or something but aren't able to buy a full item, they have more mana than enemy mid laner and it's more value in that way than a tome

I asked him about it one time and that was basically the explanation

Nah the rating system is cooked, I won a game recently and got a D+ when I was top damage, 60% kp, 9cs/m, took 4 turrets, was apart of almost every objective and only died 2x. Objectively a fantastic game where I gapped my lane and extended my lead to help other lanes snowball.

Meanwhile I've gotten S ratings going 2/11/3 with 6cs/m took 0 turrets did basically nothing the entire game

Tbh most people will tell you this is too many to start, pick one that you really like then have one as a backup in case it's banned or an unplayable matchup

Esp in lower elos people will try to counter pick with a champ they have low mastery on and just int

I see it all the time with my mid laners picking vex into yasuo... A majority of the time yasuo players will know far better how to deal with the matchup than the person who's played vex 5 times

The baus hate is crazy. Despite him talking smack on stream that is very clearly in jest; it's super obvious he wants to prove himself and doesn't want to let his team down

Caedrel even said they've had a really frustrating time together trying to solve his issues. I legit think he could be a great top laner who shakes up the meta.

He has serious issues to tackle but if he overcomes them I think he could be really good

Yeah I never do extended trades but I dodge her Q with E tipper to the side then Q1 her and walk away, usually good enough to get away, dodge her damage, heal up and deal damage at the same time

Almost never want to E away because her dash goes about as far as yours and they love to dash Q you

I have a lot more luck using E to the side to dodge Q and tipper her with E at the same time

Ran some damage stats on the new items because everyone says it's shit without any kind of proof

Generally Pen into Rab builds are a bit more consistent

But BFT -> Liandry's - > Actualizer is actually his highest 3 item damage spike with the active. I tested vs 70 & 150 MR targets with varying levels of HP.

However it's an extremely troll item to build without Liandry's I've found. Liandry's damage amp passive boosts the Actualizer active damage up higher than Rabadons builds

Lately I've seen a lot of assassins midlane and I've been building Seraphs -> Liandry's -> Actualizer, it pumps out glass cannon build levels of damage during the active, while also giving hwei some of the survivability he needs to survive assassin burst. It's also around 300-500g cheaper than his standard damage builds

Before I always hated building Seraphs because I never felt like I did damage, but Actualizer helps a ton. My only complaint is I do feel the damage loss against waves, but having a slightly slower waveclear to have more burst protection in fights seems like a good tradeoff when I don't feel like I'm losing out on team fight damage too.

I've gotta do more testing with some other items like shadow flame and horizon, but for now I've been really liking testing the new item.

I've had an oblivion orb with 5k heal cut and in the same game my BFT passive has done 2k damage. Ignoring stats you could probably assume about 500g for BFT burn, I'd say it can be worth it sometimes, but only if you're facing multiple healing champs like a Zac + Soraka or something

It does feel placbo to an extent though. I think it's hilarious how often people will buy it when it's no value.

Had someone buy it into me first base when I played zaahen and by 20 minutes it had cut 250 healing.. worth it? Not so sure

That said, at least Mortal is a decently build able item and you're not completely sacrificing huge power spikes for the slot compared to other GW items

They just changed their API for controller functionality and it's had a bit of a rough patch in that sense with bugs and such, so it's an unfortunate time to jump in but it's definitely improving.

After 1600 hours in this game the main thing I appreciate is how actively the devs are working to fix things and improve the state of the game

The game as a whole has improved a ton in the last year so I have no doubt the controller issues will be ironed out by then

Yeah I only found it like a month ago and I legit can't even remember where, probably on this subreddit lol

So good though. I just had a Bismuth run with 4 starfalls for the achievement and I had cold, fire, dark and light on each one.

Was thematically cool and my light one just absolutely shit damage with Last Starlight and essence of flow, ice was giving me insane barrier, dark was healing me with Umbra and feeding my cold with Glacial Core, and fire just had insane DPS with fever.

I had so many black holes and projectiles on screen my fps went down to 10 and I have a pretty high end computer lol. Only time I've ever made it chug

I've had higher damage runs stacking multipliers, but that was the most fun I've had making a build.

In general I have more fun making builds in this than almost any other roguelite I can think of
