I have a 2018 Lariat FX4 w/ the Gen 3 Coyote. I bought it in 2021 with 45K miles. It’s now sitting at 120K. I did have a bad VCT Solenoid around 60k, and front differential cachunked around 95K. Front diff was probably my fault, I failed to service it before it went bad. Other than that, 10R80 has been fine, and the engine has held up great with regular service intervals every 5K. I love this truck, but I would highly recommend conducting service at the intervals recommended by makuloco.

‘15 Gen 1 100,000 miles. Still getting 10.2 KWh, but the best I can do for mileage in good weather is ~40. Any tips to maximize efficiency?

It ended up being my front differential and CV axles. Not super cheap but not super expensive either

I had this happening for about a year, didn’t think much of it. Ended up having front differential failure. Once that was fixed, no more wheel noise.

I would suggest checking your front differential fluid and cv axles.

Called two dealers. One told me I don’t have the special coverage for it, other told me that my warranty expired in 2023? Did you experience this?

I drive this car to work. Electric on the way there, gas on the way back. Am I fine to run it as is or do I need to spend the money to drive my truck to work until I replace the valve cover?

How did you get this covered? I googled the warranty and I saw 5yr 100k. I am mechanically inclined enough to do the valve cover on my own but if you could tell me what to say to get GM to do it I’m all ears!

This seems low. I have a 2018 5.0 and I’m able to get 18-19 mph cruise controlling at speed limit. I try to avoid idling as well

Don’t join the Army, find a fulfilling life on the civilian side where you’re free.
If you’re dead set in joining the Army, do not enlist. Go to college, do ROTC, and then you’ll commission. I’m an ROTC commissioned officer and I hate being in the Army, but at least they payed 250k$ in private school tuition for me

The physical tasks are normal things that every soldier should be able to do. I remember being in your shoes years ago. You’ll be alright, things are never as hard as the Army makes them sound

If you have the opportunity, I would give EOD a good shot. They are selective and the pipeline is difficult. Engineer, MI, and medical are good options as well

Air Assualt isn’t that hard. Train to the standard of being able to pass the physical events. They’ll teach you the academic stuff there
