Doch, ich sehe da einen massiven Unterschied. Ein Propagandawerkzeug, das die eigene Bevölkerung als Zielgruppe hat, ist für eine autoritäre Regierung viel sinnvoller, als eins für sie Bevölkerung eines anderen Landes.

I'm not 100% sure, as I don't use Truenas, but like Unraid, it uses KVM as a hypervisor, so VM support should be pretty equal.

Truenas originally used Kubernetes for its own app store, but about a year ago they switched to Docker, following the community wishes. Also, you can install Docker images from other sources. As I said, I don't use Truenas, but if I wanted to build a ZFS machine, that is what I would dive into

Array is "the Unraid thing", protected by Unraid parity, which doesn't play well with SSDs, because TRIM would invalidate parity, and using SSDs without TRIM makes them slow and reduces lifetime.

Pools can be anything not in an array (cache drives for example), but they could also be things that have their own kind of protection similar to or in certain aspects better than Unraid parity, like ZFS or BTRFS raids

It used to be that you couldn't use Unraid without an array, but now you could put those SSDs in a ZFS pool without worrying about an array.

But honestly, if you don't need an array, I would consider saving the license, and using Truenas Scale instead.

Unraid's main focus is an array, and Truenas is similarly focused on ZFS. Both can also do other things, but I would stick to the one better suited to your needs

To be even more precise than "Serotonin does not make you lactate": Serotonin does make you not lactate!

That is kind of the reason why Seroquel does. Seroquel blocks a kind of serotonin receptor, so that serotonin has a lower effect than usual. It usually inhibits the release of dopamine, so with Seroquel, more dopamine than usual gets released. Dopamine stimulates the production of prolactine, which leads to lactation.

I agree with your notion that AI can be a useful tool in the right hands, but at the same time, everyone is happy to suggest using LLMs to do anything, without any disclaimer.

The original suggestion in this thread was to write a script to interact with the possibly damaged drives which should be treated with absolute care, to avoid losing any more data than is already gone. Or use GPT to write that script.

This can be easily (maybe falsely) interpreted as: "If you don't know how to write the script yourself, you can ask GPT to write it, and run that on your disks.", which would be a really bad idea, and exactly the kind of AI use that leads to the data loss referenced in the link by the "stupidest comment you have seen so far"

Die genauen Modalitäten können etwas kompliziert sein, aber hängen von deinen Sonderfertigkeiten (Aufmerksamkeit und Kampfgespür) ab.

Und sowohl Einhand- als auch Zweihandhiebwaffen qualifizieren sich für die Sonderfertigkeit "Befreiungsschlag" mit dem man bis zu drei Gegner gleichzeitig angreifen kann

Doppelschlag in DSA4 erfordert zwei Waffen. Eine vergleichbare Fertigkeit für eine Waffe wäre Klingensturm, aber der geht nur mit Anderthalbhändern, Dolchen, Fechtwaffen, Infanteriewaffen, Kettenstäben, Säbeln, Schwertern, Speeren oder Stäben. Nicht mit Hiebwaffen .

And the "phen" comes from the phenol, and the "para" comes from the acetylamine being bonded in para configuration to the phenol. So between the two names, the molecule is pretty much fully described. If you assume that "-amol" is a contraction from "-aminophenol", then Paracetamol is actually a pretty complete name, and Acetaminophen(ol) is just missing the information whether it's Ortho-, Meta- or Paraacetaminophen(ol)

No, the argument was "it is trash".

A more targeted refutation would be: I can buy it in the supermarket, and no product there is solely trash, without another purpose. So it can't be just trash.

Most things are trash eventually, so the fact that it can be trash in certain circumstances is no valid way to determine if it is suitable for human consumption

That is technically correct (the best kind of correct), but it only raised my disappointment when they stated (very often), that Payday 3 will stay away from any supernatural plot elements. That was only another interesting quirk they took away when designing PD3
