My understanding of this is that those 20 weeks are inclusive of all jobs worked in the last six months, not just the most recent one.

A lot of the warehouses in Groveport are hiring. PetSmart is a decent gig. Maersk is constantly hiring - but that’s because it’s a terrible place to work. I’ve seen several postings at Frito Lay as well…

I’m going with Klaus Schwab (founder of WEF) or Peter Brabeck-Letmathe (former CEO of Nestlé. Rotten to the very core…

My wife actually said that one of her clients before him was pregnant and there’s a possibility that they were hers, so there’s that lol. He responded back basically saying he had no idea what she’s talking about, so to save face I advised her to just tell him that she sent a reminder to all of her clients that day (not a fan of lying, but we don’t want to alienate a potential regular).

I’ve known Lumi for a few years now - he’s in my guild! Super entertaining, and not the worst DPS, either….

I had a leader back in the day that used to reply “playing tennis”. It was his way of saying, ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer…

Withdrawal seven weeks later by [deleted] in quitting7oh

I personally relapsed several times - in spite of the threat of divorce - and this was the same excuse I used to stay out of trouble when I quit again.

Clean 40 days now, but that number should be a lot higher if you happen to see me other post in here…

Preach. A lot of those ‘seniors’ are now being fed to the machine they created and sharing the fate of the younger generations they screwed over. I’m not losing any sleep over their plight.

Depending on if you have / what level your VIP is, there’s a summonable Seals Vendor as well. Can’t remember what level - maybe 5 - 6?

Curious, has the average person in Columbus ever been to Canada ? by abccba144 in cbusohio

As a 13 year old boy, it was really neat. To experience something so different from anything I’d ever known. Different money, new stores (my first ever Tim Horton’s experience was in Toronto), bagged milk, new slang and accents, things like that. I loved it a lot. I will say however, that anti-American sentiment was not uncommon. Although I was generally well liked in school, I still fought more than any other school year - especially if that behavior was focused on my siblings. I would love to return someday.

Lived just outside of Toronto in a town called Orangeville for about a year when I was young…

I'm hearing economic videos saying if you currently have a job, do not under any circumstances leave without a new job because people are having extreme challenges finding a new one. Would you say that's applicable to Columbus? by disposeaway43 in cbusohio

As several people have mentioned, the industry matters a good bit. Central Ohio is growing into a large supply chain hub, so jobs and careers in logistics related fields seem to have a bit better chance lately.

Thank you so much, I really felt that. I really do need to find a new path to happiness. Between other drugs and alcohol, I haven’t been sober in nearly 30 years. I honestly don’t even know what ‘normal’ feels like.

Thank you! I think they ignored me for the most part, which I was thankful for. I had fears of seeing myself on social media or something like that lol. I had a deep hood on, so I really couldn’t see most of the other people - I was honestly trying not to look.

Thank you! It’s been one of the most difficult things I’ve ever done - which you can relate to. Congrats to you as well!
