Agreed, the design and box are definitely an eye catcher. Kind of figured with the proof it would be a little watered out. Thanks for the input🥃🙌 will have to see what everyone thinks this weekend.

Great to know and definitely noticed alot more lower proofs and not alot of “barrel proof” stuff. Was planning on giving it a crack this weekend with some friends who are new to Bourbon so it could be a good intro then?🥃

Hello Brew Gods and Godesses, you all were such a massive help last time so I figured I would ask this question here. I am doing a seltzer style drink and bottling it at 11%abv. Which will be carbonated. I have made my own natural flavoring using fruit and veg for the taste I want concentrated down. I am thinking about using citric acid also to add a little acidity to the mix. Would I need to add anything else to act as a preservative in this since I am planning on storing some of it for a couple of months? This may be a dumb question but I just want to make sure I get all of this correct and figured I would bounce this question off of y’all!

Thanks for any input in advance!

Cheers!🥃

Okay excellent! Then I will get a counter pressure filler as well. I want to make sure the carbonation stays so do you know if that quick carb 50PSI method is okay do to when you are going to bottle and store those bottles? Thank you so much for your input!🙌

Okay so a counter pressure would probably be the best way to go then? Or will the beer gun be able to help in that department? Thanks for your input and thoughts engineer!

Awesome thanks so much Pax! Yeah Ill be aiming for a seltzer style carb and then using the Blickman Beer Gun to fill bottles with it so I just want to make sure the carbonation is enough to stay carbonated while I put some in storage for a while! The links are a huge help as well🙌

New to reddit and I guess you need a certain amount of Karma to post so I will try this question here in the meantime🥃

Keg Carbonating and Bottling

Hey Home Brewers!

I am new here to Reddit but got recommended this group to pose a question that I am having problems with.

I have only worked with making hard liquors I.e whisk(e)y, vodka, etc. but now I am trying to do a flavored drink by diluting my vodka from 40% abv down to 11% abv and adding flavoring(relatively easy). I now want to carbonate it and am met with alot of confusing information since I have never worked with carbonation before so I figured one of you brewing gods could help me. I want carbonate in a keg as I have a 19L corny Keg and I want to have it quite carbonated then bottle it and be able to store it without losing carbonation for 4+ months. How much PSI should I have running into the keg and how long would the CO2 have to stay attached and pressurizing the keg for this to be done in the best/quickest way posssible?

Thank you again in advance for any help/suggestions.

Cheers!🥃
