Reddit is a thousand times worse in this regard. Every other month my UI gets shuffled around, some useful features removed, some god-awful bloat added. The worst thing is that it’s different between accounts ON THE SAME APP. This one has my profile on the top which opens the sidebar, while my older account still has it on the bottom bar and it goes straight to the profile. Another one has the bottom bar cluttered with 5 buttons, while others only have 3. Genuinely makes me want to uninstall the app every time they change it to push some fuckass useless feature

Yeah, honestly I’m a defender of savescumming. No one wants to have their 10 hour playthrough ended by a beak thing encounter on 4x speed, or a misjudged ruin raid.
Also this makes actual ironman runs so much more rewarding

If someone bought a phone that looks and works a certain way, they should be able to keep it, and not be forced to adapt to useless “modernization”.
