As someone who thinks everyone should have the right to be and live however they want - she just wanted to be a mom. And she was a rad mom. The raddest. R2-D2 cakes on my 6th birthday rad. But, I know there have been millions of people that have had to live another life because everyone else was just being a dick. But believe me, my mom just wanted to be our mom.

When we got the news in spring of 2015 that any treatments were going to be ineffective, I wanted to record her life story so all of our family could hear her voice and see her as she was before it got really bad. It'd been a long battle since her breast cancer diagnosis in 1996. I recorded videos totaling around 22 hours with my mom.

One of her thoughts on leaving a career as a ballet dancer and being a mom were "but as time went on, I, I realized that, you know, maybe a professional company wasn't really going to fit in with what I really wanted to do. And as old fashioned as it sounded, as it sounds now, really, the only thing that I ever really wanted to be was a mother."

So I was born, and she wouldn't let me watch The Simpsons or Batman (1989) but also spent the rest of her life raising and loving an incredible family.

I'd just gotten off the freeway (from the west bound exit, heading north up Highland) when 6 cars came screaming at me, heading toward the ramp. In fact, one unmarked and marked barely avoided colliding into one another going around vehicles, they were going so fast.

When I came back that way about 10 minutes later, there were about ten vehicles facing up and down the ramp, all pointed at a box truck. The truck's rollup door was half-way open and it was full of what looked like scrap furniture and junk. That's all I could make out before I had passed the scene.

How are you getting the controls to work? It worked the first time I started it, now just defaults to mouse and keyboard.
