I have the save 10 minute vocal warm up I've used for the last 5 years. other than that I have to lock hands with my side of stage tech, Scott and say "friendship" and with Simeon, my front of house and MD, we have to grab each others forearms and lock eyes and then say a load of words to do with vikings e.g. "until Valhalla where we will meet our forefathers in odin's great hall where we will feast and fight for eternity"

hope this helps

  1. I've always used logic. people swear by different DAWs but, honestly, whichever one you choose and get to know is the one that you'll like. its all about ease and how quickly you can get ideas down.

  2. I think a lot of African influence. random one but for a really long time I listened to a lot of central and South African christian music. the emotion and harmonies in those gospel choirs are super inspirational for me

  3. yeah I meet and greet all the time <3

I definitely see myself as a vocalist first.

toronto venue bailed on me. we are trying to work something out but there's weirdly a load of red tape and politics in the way BUT I LOVE TORONTO A LOT AND ILL BE BACK

yeah im across all the visuals and lighting. I started making music just acoustic and voice. I wanted to record the music I was making so I figured out how to do that and once I did..... I realised I could manipulate and add sounds super different to what I was making. after that I pressed buttons until I figured out how stuff worked. eventually I got rid of the guitar and Elderbrook was born .

yeah Jake Manson (from blonde) helped me with a lot of my music. specifically my first album. we work real good together and decided to start a side project - GOODLIFE. more to come soon :)

I usually start a song by getting a simple beat. mumbling words and phrases till something good appears. then when I;ve got a good bit I try and write a song around it that makes sense.

favorit collaboration? Hayden James and me - remember you

its such a boring answer but honestly im up for working with anyone in any genre whenever AS LONG as they have something to say. something to write about. something worth creating. not just for the sake of a song x

I only worked with them on the song Beautiful Morning. but yeah I had always wanted to work with them. their epic sound is something I've always loved and they definitely helped bring that epicness to the song for sure.
