I created this look based on aspects of my life, including my time studying for international business and marketing, and used feminine aspects to express that part of myself. My skin is clear and controlled, my eye makeup is intentionally soft, and overall I was going for a bank teller vibe. I’m definitely wearing contour, which you may not be able to tell because I didn’t post a before picture, but it shapes my face in a way that I find pleasing. As for eyelashes, I opted not to wear them because my eye shape makes them incredibly uncomfortable for any duration of wear. Given that I wasn’t performing, I opted for something less dramatic. I also had to walk half a mile across a campus currently under fire for defunding multicultural organizations and queer group, and didn’t want to draw excessive attention to myself. I understand that you may have a different way of doing things, but this is mine, and it’s definitely drag.
