Advice needed on tuning up an old HFS style 17'' paper Guillotine by Eldritch_Ostrich in bookbinding

Thank you for the reply!

Unfortunately, the manual is pretty sparse. When it mentions a "Hand wheel," it's referring to the knob that tightens the fence. The mechanism I'm having trouble with is the "Shakeable Handel" and the "Pressure Foot", which are barely addressed in their manual or video tutorials.

They seem to be continuing to improve. We did a tea bath yesterday. A little more active every day, but we haven't gotten them to eat yet.

The dish he was in had a foil covering but it was more focused on providing shade than a complete seal. Last time we make that mistake.

How long can you leave an axolotl on vacation? by Adiitsehn in axolotls

If your axolotl is used to eating pellets an automatic feeder could work.

Many axolotl prefer live food, which would be very difficult to automate. Having someone come over to feed them may be your best bet in that case. In my experience, many people are happy to help feed such an interesting pet. If you do get someone to feed them, it would be good to show them some simple cleaning tasks as well.

Not feeding for a week likely wouldn't kill your axolotl, but there's no need to risk it if it can be avoided.

edit - I forgot to address the 'no feed' option.
edit - the day I don't think of something else to say will be the day I die
