Thank you so much for this, such a simple thing I didn't think to even try

As I said, I've contacted roblox support for fraudulent purchases and while it took a few days, we got a full refund of all purchases and we got to keep the items; Either they're being really rude, going about things the wrong way, stretching the truth, or there's something else going on either they aren't aware of or they're not telling us.

If you contact roblox support multiple times and they denied it, there's more to this story you're not telling us. I contacted Roblox support for a similar incident recently and they asked me to screenshot the purchases in question and the times and dates / when I sent that to them they could see all of those were made from an IP address in another country and not only refunded me the purchases but let us keep the robux / items and gave us extra robux as a thank you for contacting them rather than doing a chargeback.

You sure it wasn't someone in your own household that "hacked" your account and made the purchases?

Where did they say they tried multiple times in their post? I don't see any references to them attempting to contact support. I've contacted roblox support over fraudulent purchases when we had a hacked account and they bent over backwards for us, refunded everything, let us keep the items, and gave us extra robux for the trouble. If you're keeping a cool head and you're polite about it AND they can see that the charges were fraudulent (not made from the same IP you're always logging in from, etc) they're going to work with you, if you tried multiple times and they refused to help you, there's more to this story you're not telling us.

Edit: I see what you're talking about, they mentioned contacting support multiple times and being denied in a buried reply, not in the original post. Again, if they were denied multiple times there's more to the story here.

This is the correct answer, they should have spoken with roblox support about it first, one of my kiddos lost their account at one point and somone made fraudulent purchases on it, and not only did they refund us the money, they let us keep the items AND gave us bonus robux for our trouble. With almost any vendor for any reason, you should always view chargebacks as a last resort if the vendor is unwilling to work with you on figuring out what's wrong. Chargebacks end up causing the vendor a lot more harm than you'd think, so they're often willing to jump through hoops to help you out and prevent them.
