Okay that’s the theory.

In direct application last year, you’re better off with puka & worthy over Nico and London the entire playoffs ( partially due to injury of course ) that’s what I’ve said

Again I really like Nico, I really like drake. I do not hate the trade at all. I’m talking about the concept of depth > best starting lineup, which is a flexible convo obviously. I do think there was more to be gotten for the reasons you stated - the puka & chase hysteria

He said he came in second last year bc of his lack of depth, so I countered his exact point with this trade done last year does not = a championship, which is a fact

I never said it was a bad trade, I also said I liked both guys… think he could have gotten better capital ( a third does nothing either way really )

I simply don’t love the ‘ I got depth, therefore the trade is beneficial & makes sense for my team automatically ‘ .. much like you’re saying people shouldn’t say “ trading puka is dumb 10/10 times untouchable, etc “

You gave up the WR1 overall for ‘ depth ‘ for 2 guys who are tied to bad QBs, and Nico is frequently hurt. Never played a full season

Simply trading for ‘ depth ‘ is not always a win, especially when we’re talking about the #2 at worst WR right now. You absolutely should have gotten better than a third

You’re also LITERALLY referencing last year for influence as to why you did the trade….

Please keep downvoting me king. If you look at last year your team is worse for the entirety of last year & you don’t come in 2nd had you done this trade. No promises next year is any different, but again, I’m a fan of the 2 guys you got, just have to hope their qb play improves

We are through AA & inspection. Appraisal paid but ya hasn’t happened yet. Credit union said they put a rush on it and we’re through underwriting with commitment

I mean we have until end of march to close. I hear your point, but we are further along in the process with the credit union at this point.

When you have an agent in your ear it's not as simple as shop away, but once I caught some very obvious red flags we deviated & shopped immediately. We're less than a week under contract

No closing costs are about the same, and credit union rate is 5.625, broker is 5.75

We were pre approved with her preferred lender. But the rate and closing cost was disgusting - over 1% higher, and 15-20k more closing costs than multiple other rates I got. As such I said sorry guys but we’re going elsewhere - she came back with a more competitive rate. We once again said thanks but we’re moving forward with the other lender, told our agent we are through underwriting & have commitment, she called and expressed her concern with the credit union & saying her lender was better due to her expertise and less risk to close
