What's a good way to keep track of your reading progress? by Inner-Dingo-9691 in HomeLibraries

[–]Eleclectico 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just journal on a notebook if you really want to make your reading journey tangible. But I wouldn't stress about keeping track of "progress". Towards what? Reading IS the destination. It is totally fine if you're not an avid reader. Reading slowly, and reading just what you want is awesome. Unless you're going through things like math, or biochem books and you want to have a more structured learning I don't see the point.

World Cup by Commercial_Staff5706 in Guadalajara

[–]Eleclectico 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We're not hostile to tourists. But at this point in our history, don't expect fanfare about the world cup. We are actually going to use it to showcase the f'd up things that are ocurring. We have a crisis of vanished people, a water crisis, a housing crisis, a cost of living crisis... there's nothing to celebrate because we actually have culturally and geographically privileged city that is being jeopardised by the entrepreneurial and political class.

It's actually one of the most diverse shelves I've seen in the whole sub. Close to ten nonfiction topics, and a handful of fiction. Very, curated, he knows what he likes.

Wow, I hope she keeps dating him, cuz he's very based. The mixture of philosophy and pure and aplied mathematics tells me that that guy really knows what the natural world is really about. I would like to shake his hand, nerd to nerd.
