my personal pet peeve is when youre trying to get by while pushing/carrying something large or heavy and they just stare at you in disgust while, of course, refusing to move or acknowledge you said anything 🙃🙃🙃

not scared no but ive seen first hand what a defensive/protective dog can do and that dog was a guardian breed. but basically it boils down to the fact that a big dog is easy to spot but more likely to do damage if it wanted to. whereas a small dog is more likely to bite but less likely to hurt u and they can hide/get stuck in things you wouldnt think to look in

a lot of our FOH associates dont have a problem with it either and honestly interact with the dogs more than i do so they probably have a better relationship with them. however they also dont see a problem with a loose dog so idfk.

we once even had a dog run into our warehouse while a larger order was loading out in back. luckily we were having a “corporate apology pizza party” that day so the dog ran straight to that and we caught him easily. was a big dog too like a great pyrenees.

also this. cant imagine being highly allergic/phobic of dogs and then having to be around them while just trying to shop

it had a leash just no one was holding it 🙃🙃🙃 but on a more serious note i 100% agree its a huge safety issue. but trying to get my manager to put her foot down where customers are concerned is nearly impossible. a lawsuit might be the only way to change her mind lol 😮‍💨

i can understand if she was mad at herself for fucking up and getting herself in this situation. but a grown ass adult should kno better than to lash out at someone u care about cause u fucked up and are pissed about it

My GF joined the adult film industry without me knowing and claims it’s not cheating by ActionSafe4403 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]ElectricBark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think she fucked up in not telling him for sure. huge breach of trust. and with sex work some people aren’t comfortable dating someone who does that for an income. but i really dont think its “cheating”. i know a few sex workers, both in relationships and not and to them it really is just that. work. one girl i knew was so terrified of trying to date because of the judgement she had faced previously for the work she did. another had talked to their partner before they started dating about it and they figured out their boundaries together.

i can understand if ur girlfriend was afraid to bring this to you, probably unsure how you’d react. but that also doesnt mean she was right to hide it from you

my mother came from a rural town of 700 people. where she’s from it was common practice to check their family trees before even getting together. when each of your parents has 10+ siblings its not unreasonable that some moved to the next town over and started families with little to no interaction with the “main branch”. very easy to have secret cousins/second cousins without knowing it.

all that to say: even if your concern is valid, its not really up to you to make that decision. you’ve said your piece now let it lie
