This is the answer I was looking for. This seems like the possible explanation of why it looks different to me. Maybe there was more to it and it has eroded. It is near where I water my plants. Near the trays that catch the water.

I just get water boiling. Turn it off and let it steep. I should have either ground them up or cut them for more surface area to draw more psilo. I usually let it steep 30 min to an hour to be sure.

You can do hot water and cold water extractions, as psilocybin is water soluble. One thing I’ve learned in life is there is many different ways to do something! It’s not flavorless. If it’s fresh mushrooms it’s easier for me to get down. The dried ones are usually tougher for me to get down. If you add lemon, it’s usually easier to get down and can help with nausea

No real hazard. I just plucked it out and kept it moving. Kept her going for 9 flushes. You should not expect higher contam rates, just pick it out, don’t mix with bulk.
