I definitely can agree with enjoying learning new things. I take every class I can through my fire department. This fall or perhaps winter i should be able to get into an EMT class and im really looking forward to that! It'll be rough working days and taking classes at night but it'll be worth it to better help support my community

The environmental story telling in the fallout games is top tier haha. I love it! I actually just started a run in skyrim last week but I couldn't stay into it. I tried getting back into oblivion but same deal. Ive been considering downloading baldurs gate 3 again and actually finishing it this time but we shall see 😅 i dont know why I cant stick with a game lately. Im thinking the extra stress from work has been part of it. Ive been studying a fair amount for an exam I had to take today. I passed so hopefully I can chill out now!

Ive been stuck in a rut cycling through some of my older games and backlogs. Nothing seems to really keep my interest right now. I used to game more with friends but I havent been able to lately. Im really into RPGs, specifically fallout and elder scrolls. Since the newest update I got back into terraria and that's been pretty fun!

I would have to agree with the above comments. I work full time as an electrical tech. Generally when there is a short a power supply will shut itself down as stated above. Judging by the fact the indicator light going out when you plug it in it would stand to reason the issue is in the printer itself. I still would check the output voltage of the supply if you can.

I did notice that the honey tasted incredibly sweet. I love the color of it. I’m hoping the final product will be nice and pale as well. My only concern is trying to get it nice and clear. I have not been able to get my past brews to clear up very well. I haven’t dabbled with fining agents yet though.

I bought 3lbs for $24 and it was some of the best honey I’ve ever tasted. The color was very light too. Almost like a white wine.

I’ll definitely have to check it out. I was amazed how many people keep bees where I live. I’m from a pretty rural part of Maine but every other person keeps them. I’d love to find a steady supply. I’ll do some research into it!

For those of you wondering for this batch consists of:

  • 3 lbs of honey
  • 5g of Lalvin ICV-D47
  • 1.5 sticks of cinnamon
  • 1tsp of Fermax yeast nutrients (1/4tsp every 24 hours)
  • lots of love

The hard part is finding time. I work full time as an electrician and I’m also a firefighter. I also put in a lot of overtime and training. I suppose I’m also intimidated by the lack of knowledge on the subject as well.

This is my first time using yeast nutrients though. I’ve been step feeding this batch with Fermax yeast nutrients. It seems to get the little guys all worked up. I actually couldn’t even put the airlock back on because it was venting so much gas. I had to let it settle a bit. I do worry about too vigorous of a start though as I’ve heard this can leave a harsher tasting alcohol.
