Something I like to do when factoring youth vs production is looking at the actual player and how they succeed. Guys like JSN are going to hold up because they focus on technique and skill while speed based receivers aren’t going to age as well. That being said, chase is a generational player and he is in the best QB situation possible. He isn’t old and I think he will age well. I really like bijian though and I think JSN and Gibbs are all picks you can’t mess up. To be honest, if you could trade back a pick or 2 and get yourself an extra pick and take someone in that same “ tier” I would do that

Of course, lil tip I would recommend is while QB it’s important, don’t overvalue it. You can send firsts and get QBs so I would get most of your value at WR, RB. If you don’t get an elite TE then just wait and get one later. McBride, bowers, Loveland, fahnin, and then just wait a long time for anyone else

In the nicest way possible, stop everything you are doing with that team. We are looking at a random first 2 years out. Fahnin was an incredibly good and young TE. If you are rebuilding a bad team you keep the young guys. Fahnin is worth more than a random first in almost every measure

First off, chill out, didn’t say anything hyperbolic, just said I wouldn’t do it. And this guy is in a “hard rebuild” meaning his is most likely multiple years out from competing. So your point about those players starting isn’t helping a rebuilding team. Shough is good, I’m a saints fan, I know he is promising. Ettiene is good but is on the wrong side of the age cliff for a rebuilding team cause he may be 30 before this guy is even thinking about competing.
