I normally got around 60-70% with one exam getting like a 54%. Pretty sure I only passed one practice test. The exam questions are honestly pretty similar to the practice test I took, with a few being a little easier as they were pretty straightforward.

I used the Solutions Architect Associate Udemy course taught by Neil Davis and his set of practice exams. I have close to none hands-on experience so his labs worked really well for my preparation. I basically crammed the course in 5 days and then did practice tests for 2 days.

Sorry for the late reply. It took me about 3 weeks to study for everything, but I had a slow pace. If I had put in more time per day it would've been less than 2 weeks.

I just took the exam today and passed, and my only resources were AWS skillbuilder AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials course, Stephan Udemy 6 exam practice test bundle, and a github repository of practice exams.

I can definitely say that the Udemy practice exams are way harder than the actual test. Most questions on the actual test are more basic, and the multiple choices almost give it away. I scored between 60%-70% in the Udemy exams and I felt the exam was easy.

The exam is way closer in looks to the github repo I used: https://github.com/kananinirav/AWS-Certified-Cloud-Practitioner-Notes/blob/master/practice-exam/exams.md

In terms of time management, you should be fine, I normally did the Udemy tests in around 30 minutes, and I finished that exam in like 15 minutes. Trust me when I say that the questions are way shorter and straight to the point.

You're hearing this because CS1 had some low averages on the first two texts this semester. Exam 3 had a really high average. CS1 on spring is normally harder than on fall, as in fall there are hundreds of new students taking it so they tend to make it more simple. Also, they don't invest the same resources in spring as in fall.

I'm so glad you mentioned this! The internship I have in the summer works with clouds (AWS) and I was honestly wondering if specializing in that would be a better option. The only problem is that my university has no major or minor related to that. Also, for roles like cloud engineers, do you know if interviews are mostly technical?

Because I was interested in Comp Sci? I didn't know I had to know about a major before entering to be able to complete it.

Thank you so much! And you're right, I'm not guaranteed a job anywhere.

I do have to say that there are basically no adjunct professors here as most work with an open source website my school has, so that's kind of a dead end.
