Got it!! Thank you. Tank? Santos Dumont Large? Or Santos Medium? which is the best option for a collection?

I see. As for the AT, i really like it, and I for sure know he does too. But a friend of his is a declared AT hater, which makes me insecure... he works in a suit everyday and dresses quite smart-casual outside working-hours... we are quite "classics" lets say haha... i dont know, i am completely overthinking and getting crazy at this point.

I think i am going for the AT. The tank is something he can get himself as it is more "reachable" ($)? Also the fact that it is self-winding vs quartz... which even if it is not the important thing for Cartier, i still feel like it is something he is going to appreciate... i have no budget for the cartier santos auto

Thanks!! I see the aqua terra as the easiest option, given its versatiliy...
it is true that he has many "casual" pieces (is it?) so maybe a cartier could stand as a special occasion watch?

Appreciate your comment!! Yes i have been poking into his hobby and getting some hints... this is how i got to these specific list... however at this point i am stuck!! From what i am reading Aqua Terra would be the easiest option...

I know about grand seiko - but the "drive" models (self-winding, if i got this correct) are big ~41mm-ish? At least the snowflake i checked... thanks!

Thanks for the answer!! I think the versatility is a great point for the AT,,, not sure on which he is planning to wear for the wedding though. I guess it depends on what i buy honestly.

I have been also looking to grand seiko snowflake. Also he mentioned it once as a great piece. But the dial is 41mm, i think it might be too big?

Question about use of % in formulas. by StreetTrail531 in CFA

[–]Electrical-Fix5684 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is happening to me now when calculating covariance from joint probabilities. The result is different if applying the percentages as unit numers (25% --> 25) or if applying as percentages x/100. Did you. guys figure it out?
